The Honda Chopper looks like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and a space ship from Star Wars.

It has been designed by Pete Norris to blend modern looks with cutting edge tech that would propel the rider along like a bat out of hell.

Designer Norris, who recently designed the Pininfarina Coupe Concept, has been hard at work on this electric concept.

The concept has a long front end and feet-forward seating position which mimics the layout of contemporary chopper bikes, but with a distincly more futuristic vibe. Norris chose Honda as the brand for his concept because the bike has a similar colour scheme and rounded-off rectangular lines as the Honda ASIMO robot.

The downward facing handlebars and central headlight (positioned under a scowling brow) bring some extra attitude to the design. While the large exhausts, which at first glance look like luggage pannier, feature blue-lit LEDs giving it an almost jet-like quality.

The proposed power source for the Honda Chopper is a biofuel engine backed up by two small electric motors, one built into each wheel hub.
