Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month: perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph.

The perpetual calendar complication gets the subtle treatment with a digital or window display in place of subdials, keeping the look-and-feel resolutely classical.

Here the brand reaches into its own past, having been one of the first to experiment with the digital display of time more than a century ago.

The leap year, month and date are displayed via windows and double-discs. Month and date indicators switch instantaneously and all calendar indications need only be adjusted once every 100 years. Advancing the calendar can be done via the crown. Note also that the subdial at 12 o’clock is not a second time zone but the chronograph display.

The watch is powered by the automatic IWC calibre 89800 and is available in rose gold and platinum.
