You wont believe what a mental relief this little distraction can give you.
If you're glued to a problem or project and rather than affording the time to take a walk around the building or the block simply click on and follow the action. It doesn't take long before you brain is sufficiently 'disengaged' to take on that work issue again with a new and fresh insight.
Based just outside of London, I like to work in all media formats and getting stuck into the code that makes it all work. My background is in 3d design, and that led onto 2d print and media work.
At the moment I am teaching myself a few new tricks in website design. I have just added lots of Ajax elements to the site, and have lots more planned behind the scenes.
Designer Matt Gale likes to keep learning and is currently studying objective-C with the hope of developing mac and iPhone applications.
Outside of my design work I enjoy the outdoors, kayaking and climbing whenever I can. I've done a lot of work with youth over the years, at outdoor centres and after school clubs.
